Independence Day and Investiture Ceremony Celebrated
Guru Harkrishan Public School, Nanak Piao celebrated Independence Day on 16th August? 2012 with great zeal and patriotism. The school also conducted the Investiture Ceremony where in deserving students were appointed at various prefectural posts. This was followed by the oath ? taking ceremony. The Chief Guest of the occasion S. Surinder Pal Singh (Bittoo) MLA blessed the students and advised them to be absolutely loyal to the nation and to shine in every sphere. Republic Day Celebrated
Guru Harkrishan Public School, Nanak Piao, Delhi celebrated the Republic Day on January 27th, 2012. The member of Legislative Assembly, Shri Surinder Pal Singh Bittoo was the Chief Guest at the function. Many other distinguished Members of the Governing Body also graced the occasion. Karate Tournament held from 10th to 13th January 2012 Davinderpal Singh a student of IX-C Guru Harkrishan Public School, Nanak Piao, Delhi participated in International Karate Tournament held in Bangladesh. 12 countries participated in this International Karate & Martial Art Tournament. Davinderpal Singh won 2 Gold Medals and one Silver Medal in this event. He has been awarded the titled best player in this tournament. He was the only Sikh boy among all participants. .
